Sara Rodriguez has been writing songs and performing for audiences in Pearland most of her life as a solo artist. Her brother Noah and his friends were also musicians but collaboration elluded them. The differences were too much and although they tried in high school, a bridge was not possible at that time. Sara was inspired by the contemporary pop artists of her youth while her brother was a strict fan and student of the blues and the rock bands that spawned in the 90's by this same influence.

Sara is a trained vocalist, guitar player, keyboard player amongst other instruments and Noah has been a drummer since childhood and also plays guitar and bass. After growing up in the same house and in adjacent rooms it wasn't until 2021 that they began creating music together. They took Sara's catalog of songs and began to shape them into the EP titled Suburban Artist that they will be releasing on July 1. The recorded songs were worked on between college classes and part time jobs at their friend Andrew Hernandez's home studio in 2021 and 2022. In those recording sessions they each managed to find common ground and shaped these new compositions into a new form of rock and roll. They had produce a set of songs that had an energy they could both be proud of.

Noah recorded the lead guitar, bass and drums parts on the EP but he is the drummer of the Meteorites. Harrison Mikeska plays lead guitar. Emily Klang play bass. Sara plays rhythm guitar and lead vocals.

Sara, Noah, Emily and Harrison are the Meteorites and they are ready to rock all of the original tracks on the Suburban Artist EP and cover songs from some of their favorite bands that you'll most likely recognize.
